The ranking member on Trade and Industry Michael Okyere Baafi has pointed out that the 24-Hour economy policy of the John Dramani Mahama Administration was dead at birth because it was not the policy, they told Ghanaians about.
In an interview he pointed out that during the 2024 presidential and Parliamentary elections what NDC told Ghanaians was that there would be three shifts but when it was launched as a policy it is not what is being given to Ghanaians.
“They are now giving us proper policy and document; but this is a shift for the future; and now makes Connect 24, show 24, now going to build industrial park at the Volta basin, textual hubs. What they told us is not what they are bringing; clearly there is a problem and I believe that to me the 24-Hour economy is dead at birth”
