Former Member of Parliament (MP) for Tema West Irene Naa Torshie Addo will soon be vetted by the Appointment Committee of Parliament, as she has been nominated as the new administrator of the District Assembly Common Fund (DACF).
Speaker of Parliament Professor Aaron Mike Oquaye announced her nomination on the floor of Parliament on Tuesday and referred her nomination to the Appointment Committee for consideration.
The former Tema West legislator if approved by the House, will replace Kojo Fynn the former administrator who was released of his post by the President, Nana Akufo-Addo early part of this year.
Naa Torshie Addo lost her primaries in third attempt to represent the people of Tema West to Carlos Ahenkorah.
