Member of Parliament for Adenta, Nii Ashie Moore, is on his way out of Parliament as he has lost the NDC parliamentary primary held today.
He was beaten by Mohammed Ramadan, a Management consultant who was thought to be relatively unknown in the constituency.
Mr Ramadan beat the incumbent MP by garnering 2,286 as against 1,130 votes. The other contestants were former MCE for Adenta, Kakra Vanlare who secured 358 votes while, Mallam Issah a former Minister of Youth and Sports got 97 votes.
Adenta over the years has been popular for not retaining its MPs for a second term.
