Member of Parliament for Ayawaso Central, Hon. Henry Quartey has supported youth in vocational profession with equipment to boost their businesses.
He has so far donated a total of 25 sewing machines and 25 hair dryers to seamstresses and hair dressers in his constituency and will add another 50 of each equipment on monday.
Speaking to Ghanamps.gov.gh, Hon. Quartey disclosed that he secured the equipment with his own resources in fulfillment of his pledge during his electioneering campaign.
He said the distribution was done devoid of any partisanship as the beneficiaries are all his constituents and must seek their interest.
Hon. Quartey added that he liaises with enterpreneurship associations in selecting the beneficiaries.
He noted that his plan is to distribute a total of 300 each of the equipment by the end of the year.
