The Member of Parliament for Assin North, Kennedy Ohene Agyepong, has stated with certainty that he will not honour any invitation extended to him by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Police for questioning.

The Editor of the Bilingual Free Press newspaper Alhaji Bature Iddrissu, has reported the MP to the Police after the MP threatened him with death during a heated exchange on Asempa Fm’s Ekosii sen show last week Friday.

Alhaji Bature has severally on public platform accused Hon. Kennedy Ohene Agyepong of engaging in cocaine trade, an accusation that the MP has flatly denied. It was during one of such accusations on radio that the MP took offence at the statement and in a very incensed mood threatened to kill Alhaji Bature should he meet to face to face.

However speaking on Adom FM’s Dwaso Nsem show on Tuesday morning, Hon. Kennedy Ohene Agyepong vowed never to step foot at any police station should he be invited for interrogation if they don’t first invite Alhaji Bature.

“ If the police know what is right, then they must first arrest Alhaji Bature, he must tell the world how he knew I trade in cocaine and why he has not alerted the police on that, and also give empirical evidence to back his allegation, he will have to provide all the Nima boys he claims are witnesses’’ he said angrily.

The two personalities in recent times have clashed on radio several times often generating a lot of heat and controversies.

A section of the public who are displeased about the incessant spewing out of “unguarded” statements by the MP, perceive this as a test case for the police to show some muscle by inviting Kennedy Ohene Agyepong who many perceive as a foul- mouthed person for cross-examination, especially as it is unbecoming of an honourable Member of Parliament.
