A member of Public Account Committee (PAC) Brainah Muhammad Bawah has said the Committee is up to date with working on the Auditor General’s report that is usually referred to the Committee which usually is in arrears.
In an interview with Ghanamps.com, the Ejura-Sekyedumase Member of Parliament stated that there should not be doubt in the minds of Ghanaians with regards to dealing with backlog of reports by PAC.
PAC would start its public hearing tomorrow Tuesday, August 19, 2025 by looking at the Auditor General’s report of 2024 which covers Ministries, Departments and Agencies of government.
Mr. Bawah further noted that, much has not been put out for Ghanaians to know the level of work done; and that under the Chairmanship of James Klutse Averdzi a lot of work was done to clear the backlog.
This, he said pave way for the 2025 report to also be laid next year, he added.
