Minority chief whip, Frank Annoh-Dompreh has given indications that their side on the Appointment Committee considering the vetting of the Chief Justice nominee would equally obstruct the Majority leader Mahama Ayariga if he does not stop interrupting the Minority Leader Alexander Kwamena
Afenyo-Markin as his preliminary remarks was objected delaying the real vetting process from starting.
Mr. Dompreh objected to the constant interruption by the Majority Leader, and complaind that the continuous interjection of every sentence of the Minority leader is unfair but his colleagues on the Majority side see it as normal.
“Mr. Chairman, interestingly the Majority leader catches your eye every time, Parliament is not about the Majority leader, I represent a constituency and when I have a view I should catch your eyes.
I want to tell him any time he obstructs the Minority Leader we will also do that. But to which end; the begging question is to what point are we going to conclude this vetting, what are we telling Ghanaians? Despite being the Majority leader, he is an MP like any of us”.
