Majority leader Mahama Ayariga with his colleague the Minority Leader Aleander Kwamena Afenyo-Markin are to wrap up debates on the 2026 Budget Statement and Economic Policy of the John Dramani Mahama administration today, Thursday November 27, 2025.
Initially the wrap up debate by the two leaders who had been allocated an hour each was supposed to come off on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, but most of the lawmakers who are first timers did not get the opportunity to debate.
Thus, it was pushed to Thursday to afford a lot of MPs the opportunity to debate.
It is expected that both leaders would put off their best to sell their ideas on the budget to Ghanaians hence the interest has warranted the media to carry the debate live to the doorsteps of Ghanaians.
