The Member of Parliament for Suhum Constituency, Hon. Frank Bekoe Asiedu, has reaffirmed his commitment to education by donating vital office equipment to the Ghana Education Service (GES) in Suhum.
On Friday, January 16, 2026, the MP presented a Canon multi-purpose photocopier, two desktop computers, and a Lenovo laptop to the Suhum Municipal Education Directorate. The gesture follows his consistent engagement with the GES, where he identified the urgent need for modern tools to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
Speaking at the ceremony, Hon. Asiedu Bekoe emphasized that education remains a top priority in his constituency. He noted that while he has supported schools in various ways over the years, the lack of basic office equipment had long hindered effective administration.
“Improving the working conditions of our education offices directly impacts the quality of service delivery across schools in Suhum,” he stated.
Receiving the items, the Suhum Municipal Director of Education, Mrs. Angelina Aba Osei-Bonsu, expressed heartfelt appreciation, describing the donation as a major boost to their operations. She praised the MP as a key contributor to the steady growth of education in Suhum, adding humorously that, like Oliver Twist, the GES would always hope for more support to meet growing demands.
The donation ceremony brought together education officials, staff, and community members, underscoring the MP’s ongoing dedication to strengthening the foundations of learning in Suhum.
