The Public Accounts Committee of Parliament is set to resume its sitting today after an abrupt adjournment last week.

The suspension was to allow Majority members of the committee to attend plenary sessions, following a request by the Majority Chief Whip to shore up numbers and facilitate the business of the House.

The committee is conducting a public hearing to consider the Auditor-General’s Special Audit Report on Government Outstanding Claims and Commodities as of December 31, 2024.
