Samuel Nartey George, MP for Ningo-Prampram and Minister for Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations, has commissioned four newly completed Dzata Playgrounds at government schools in the constituency.
The playgrounds—located in Tsopoli, Ahwiam, Prampram and Mataheko—are expected to provide children with safe, conducive spaces to play, interact and create lasting memories.
“I am excited about the memories our children will make in these playgrounds,” George said.
The commissioning formed part of a wider educational and community infrastructure programme across the constituency. In addition to the playgrounds, the MP commissioned three classroom blocks and a sanitary facility serving four other communities.
The projects, commissioned on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, include two three-unit classroom blocks, a kindergarten block and a 12-seater toilet facility.
They are located in Lakpleku-Djinahor, Kpatcheremidor, Tsopoli, Ahwiam, Prampram, Afienya and Mataheko.
The interventions are intended to improve educational infrastructure and create a more conducive environment for children to learn and play.
