In a continued effort to support education in his constituency, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) and Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon, John Dumelo, has embarked on a tour of several schools to donate thousands of exercise books to students.
The donation drive, which took place earlier this week, saw the lawmaker visit key educational institutions within the constituency, including West Africa Senior High School (WASS), Kinbu Senior High Technical School, and the University of Ghana Basic School. The initiative is part of his broader commitment to improving learning outcomes and ensuring that every child has access to the basic tools needed for their education.
Addressing students and faculty during the visits, Dumelo emphasized that education remains the cornerstone of national development. He noted that the provision of exercise books is a small but significant step in alleviating the financial burden on parents and encouraging students to take their studies seriously.
