Second Deputy Speaker of the seventh Parliament of the fourth Republic, Alban Kingsford Sumana Bagbin had promised he would provide limitless opportunities for Persons with Disability (PWD) as President of Ghana.

According to the Second Deputy Speaker he would ensure that the needed reforms in Ghana’s social and governance structure are carried out.

He added that these would include huge investment into public education and sensitization against economic and social discrimination, tax incentives and reliefs to create employment in the private sector for PWDs.

I have elaborate plans for ending all forms of discrimination and creating wealth to establish an equitable and just society in Ghana, he said.

He made this remarks at a press conference to clear the air on perceived remarks that he made against PWDs after his Volta Region tour  in line with his hope to be the flagbearer of the NDC.

“I have worked enormously with PWDs and I know their capabilities, I am currently a patron of Richoff Disability Sports and Educational Foundation and provided scholarship for PWD because of my endless affection for the marginalized and my desire to build a free and just society”, he pointed out.
