Founder of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) former President Jerry John Rawlings has to speak to instill discipline in the party, as foot soldiers and the down trodden in the party hold him in high esteem, Member of Parliament (MP) for Ashiaman Charles Ernest Henry Norgbey said in an interview with ghanamps.com

The ongoing internal wrangling has become a problem for, “we the MPS’ and the foot soldiers” of the party, because whatever we are seeking to do to takeover power from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in 2020 is being impeded he said.

He noted that it is true that Political party is about numbers but “we still need to instill discipline in the party”.

According to the Ashiaman law maker elders of the party should know, we are in opposition and we need to re-organize party towards victory in the 2020 Presidential and Parliamentary elections.

He lamented that the Mahama government was touted as corrupt and pushed to the back burner hence they need to have some introspection and re-organize themselves to come back strongly.

“Even in opposition we are still fighting each other, it is not good for the party, otherwise we will still remain in opposition. No matter what, we should come to terms that the NDC has lost the 2016 Presidential and Parliamentary elections, he remarked.

Mr. Henry Norgbey noted that, Founder of the party is the right person to initiate a move for truce and will be respected.

“If he says enough is enough, let us come together and re-organize the party he use his blood to sign and capture power in 2020 it will serve us all well as NDC”, he pointed out.

I will not begrudge the founder for the difference we had during the 2016 election, “he was not happy with the party”. But we need to come together and work together as one family and work hard to capture power in 2020.
