The Member f Parliament for Abetifi, Peter Wiafe Pepra has described the successful endorsement f the President nominee for the position of District Chief Executive, Mr. Nana Antwi Siaw as a win for progress in Kwahu.

According to him, officially district assembly elections are not suppose to be partisan, yet it is open knowledge that it is deeply rooted, adding that the battle between the NDC and NPP in the district has serious implications for the progress of the district.

It is therefore great relieve and positive step towards confirming the nominee as this will make sure active work resumes at the assembly to start dealing with the developmental challenges of the various communities.

The MP who was at the assembly to witness the approval of the DCE nominee also noted that due to the back and forth in approving DCE for the district, the area is lacking behind in development and urged them to put their differenced aside and work in unity for the growth of the district.

He advised the new DCE to collaborate with the assembly members, traditional authorities and all other stakeholders to make positive impact in the lives of the people in the district.
