Majority leader and Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Osei Kyei Mensah-Bonsu on Wednesday informed the House that the five member Ad-hoc committee tasked to investigate the “cash for seat scandal” had asked to be given Thursday 1st February 2018 to present its report.
The Ad-hoc committee was supposed to present its report on the 24th of January 2018 but pleaded for extension of days to the 31st of January to present its report to the House.
According to the Majority leader on Tuesday 8:00pm he had a call from the Ad-hoc committee indicating they would work late into the night and close at midnight, looking at the work at hand.
On Wednesday they indicated that they could not finish their report so had to sit during the day work on the report and present on Thursday the 1st of February 2018.
