The Member of Parliament for Dome/Kwabenya Constituency, Hon. Sarah Adwoa Sarfo has presented items and cash in support to victims who were severely affected by the recent fire outbreak in the Dome Market.

The Dome market was some few weeks ago gutted by fire, destroying properties worth thousands of Ghana cedis belonging market traders who live in the Dome and its surrounding environs.

Hon. Adwoa Sarfo however upon hearing the incident had to suspend a working visit abroad and returned home to have a firsthand look about the horrific disaster and ascertain for herself the impact of the fire disaster on the lives of her constituents.

The Legislator however encouraged victims to look into the future with hope and urged them not to be discouraged by what happen to them but forge ahead to improve upon their lives.

She further urged government to resource the Ghana National Fire Service in order to enable them deliver on their service to general public without any hindrance and bemoaned the frequent fire outbreaks in the most markets in the country and called on the various Assemblies to intervene in finding a lasting solution.

Meanwhile, the traders also expressed appreciation to the MP for the gesture and her hard working ability in supporting the people of Dome-Kwabenya constituency to improve upon their lives.
