The Akim Oda MP, Alexander Akwasi Acquah has launched a two-day Eye Care Project in Akim Oda Constituency.

The project is collaboration with the Columbia Union Conference–USA and support from Community Hospital–Akim Oda.

The exercise is aimed at providing free cataract screening and free pterygium surgeries to residents in need. Speaking in an interview with the media, the MP expressed surprised at massive turnout across six centres on the first day. He said this strong participation reflects the real need for accessible healthcare in our communities.

The MP says he remain committed to initiatives that improve the wellbeing of our people and I urge all those affected to take advantage of the final day to have their eyes examined and receive the necessary care.
