NDC MP for Ayawaso East, Naser Toure Mahama, popularly known as McNaza, has passed away.
Born in 1965 in Nima, Accra, he was first elected to Parliament in 2012 and was recently re-elected in 2024 with over 70% of the vote.
A graduate of Central University and holder of an MBA from Japan, he had a notable career in business prior to politics, serving as Managing Director of Aminasei Oil Company for nearly two decades.
Respected as a devout Muslim, family man, and dedicated legislator, his death has deeply affected his constituents, colleagues, and the NDC.
Details about his cause of death are not yet disclosed, and funeral arrangements will be announced later.
