Residents of West Legon in the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency have called on their Member of Parliament, Hon. Emmanuel Kyeremanteng Agyarko to hold regular meetings to brief them on happenings in Parliament and his vision for the constituency.
According to the constituents, they will very much appreciate a meeting with their MP during Parliament’s recess, where he briefs them on the importance of some of the Bills that have been recently passed and the implications thereof.
This came to light when Ghanamps.gov.gh visited the constituency to find out what their needs and concerns were.
In an interview with Ghanamps.gov.gh, Hon. Emmanuel Kyeremanteng Agyarko welcomed the suggestion by the constituents and promised to find time to meet them.
“ It is a good suggestion they have put forward, it is important that the constituents are abreast with the happenings in parliament and what it is that I am doing to help develop the constituency” he said.
The constituency boasts of some of the upper class residential areas in Accra such as Roman Ridge, East Legon, West Legon, Dworwulu and Abelenkpe among others and is home to high ranking government officials, top business executives and some security services chiefs.
Unlike other constituencies where residents complain of lack of potable water and poor roads, Ayawaso Wuogon is blessed with tarred roads throughout the constituency, efficient disposal of waste and potable water.
