Former Majority Leader, Alban Bagbin says Senior Journalist, Randy Abbey, is now the gate-keeper at President John Mahama’s official residence.

The aggrieved Nadowli West Member of Parliament says Randy Abbey’s gate-keeping role has led to the denial of access to the President, to many members of the governing party.

“…If you go to President Mahama’s house, official residence, and Randy Abbey is in charge there, how do you expect NDC members to have access to the President?” Bagbin said Monday.

Bagbin has in the past few days questioned the President’s commitment to fighting corruption in government.

The former health minister wondered why he has been denied access to Mahama for the past five months despite his persistent efforts to counsel him privately about tackling corruption in his government.

Lands and natural resources minister, Inusah Fuseini, has also come out to confirm to Radio XYZ on Strict Proof that he has on several occasions seen Randy Abbey at the President’s residence but adds that Randy’s presence cannot be blamed for the inability of some party people to see the President.
