Member of Parliament for Bia West Michael Coffie Boampong has donated 40 sets of streetlight to the Essam Government in his constituency.
According to him, his kind gesture is to ensure that the health facility is well illuminated during the night and also boost security at the place.
Speaking to Ghanamps.gov.gh, Hon. Coffie Boampong stated that the provision of the streetlight would discourage miscreants from hiding under the cover of darkness to engage in criminal activities.
He noted that he secured the lights with support from government at a cost of 12,800, adding that he remains committed to ensuring an improvement of quality education in the area.
