The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for Jaman South, Yaw Maama Afful has accused the District Chief Executive of Jaman South Julius Atta Bediako of causing an Operative of the Bureau of National Investigation(BNI) to harass him.

He said the DCE has quite recently tasked the BNI operative in Drobo to threaten and embarrass him unjustifiably, a move he suspects to be politically motivated and intended to cow him into submission and scuttle his chances will boosting the chances of his competitor at the December polls.

The Businessman turn politician was speaking on Adom FM’s Dea Mehu yi programme on Wednesday on his campaign activities and what his chances are in the upcoming December Parliamentary elections.

The MP who goes into battle with the one-time spokes person of the Armed Forces Revolutionary Council (AFRC) Junta and NDC parliamentary candidate for Jaman South, Osahene Boakye Djan said he is not the least daunted by the completion from Boakye Djan.

He said his delivery of a lot of developmental projects in the Districts and his respect for his constituents and humble nature has endeared him to the electorates who are keen on rewarding him by voting massively to retain him as MP for the area.

All efforts to reach the DCE for the area to state his side of the allegation made against him have proved futile.
