The Member of Parliament for the Buem constituency and the District Chief Executive for Jasikan in the Volta region, Daniel Kwasi Ashiaman and Lawrence Kwame Aziale have pledged their collective resolve to champion the development of the Buem traditional area in unity devoid of partisanship.
According to the two leading political figures, the development of the area which has lagged behind in every sector of the development ladder is of utmost priority to them than any individual political consideration.
The two men believed unity in ideas and action irrespective of political persuasion is the only panacea to help develop the area.
Speaking to ghanamps.com and ghanadistricts.com in separate interviews on the relationship between them for the development of the area, the MP and DCE sounded very passionate about the progress of the Jasikan District and the Buem Traditional area for that matter.
“I have a very cordial relationship with my brother, Hon Lawrence Azialewho is the DCE for Jasikan, all I want is to see Buem develop, I will not allow NDC, NPP politics to block my chance to help develop Buem, I will work with him (DCE) to bring growth to Buem’’ the MP has said
“My brother, you see,the Jasikan District needs development than any other District in Ghana.The only way we achieve that is when we unite, I have a very good rapport with Hon Ashaiman who is my MP, so we would all work together for the benefit of the District and her people’’ the DCE affirmed.
