The Member of Parliament for the Kade constituency in the Eastern region, Kwabena Oheneng-Tinyase has challenged Ghanaians to control their eating habits in order to prevent kidney diseases.

He stated most diets today are full of carbohydrates with no or less fibre in them resulting in ingestion when consume.

The MP also noted that late eating has contributed to cases of hypertension and diabetes especially among young people.

Speaking on the floor of Parliament in support of a statement by Ledzokuku Member of Parliament, Dr Bernard Okoe Boye to mark World kidney Day, Mr Ohemeng-Tinyase called on young people especially to control their diet, sugar levels and general lifestyle.
