Dome/Kwabenya gave the former President John Dramani Mahama ninety-five percent of the total votes cast over the weekend in the opposition Nation Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential primaries.

Mr. John Dramani Mahama polled thousand, three hundred and thirty-one, Professor Joshua Alabi got twenty-five Goosie Tanoh four votes, Alban Bagbin three votes Dr. Ekwow Spio Gabrabrah, Nurudeen Iddrisu four and Sylvester Mensah four votes.

The process was peaceful without any incident. Early morning there were long lines with transport arranged to transport delegates to the Atomic clinic park where the process took place.

Mr. Eduzi Tamaklo in an interview with ghanamps.com congratulated the delegates of Dome/Kwabenya for coming out in their numbers to vote.

As to whether education has gone on well for spoilt ballot not to be recorded in the elections, he noted that massive education has gone on and they are not leaving any stone unturned to ensure that there is massive endorsement for JDM.

He further pointed out that John Dramani Mahama with his personality style is someone who would be able to bring all the aspirants, on board when he carries the day, “even the NPP people were comfortable with him he is never vindictive”.

“Winning the Presidential primaries is the first step towards capturing power in 2020, he needs everybody on board the party needs everybody, we need everybody under the great umbrella”.

Chairman of the Dome/Kwabenya NDC Lamptey noted that the constituency was going to give JDM ninety-nine percent of the votes and the promise is not in vacuum, “we know the work we have done”.

He further pointed out that the rest are matured politicians and believe they would come around to help the party capture power when they lose.
