The honorable Member of Parliament for Ellembele in the Western region, Emmanuel Armah Kofi Buah has challenged students to focus their time on studies to enable them succeed in life.
He urged Ghanaian students not to allow their background to keep them away from the future goals irrespective of where they come from.
Mr Buah in citing himself as an example with a very underprivileged background but fought to become what he is today.
“Do not be let down by your current status or background, you can make it in life if you fight on, I am an example of someone who came from a poor background but I am here today through hard work and the grace of God’’ he revealed.
The Ellembelle lawmaker who gave these advices in an interaction with students from the Nkrofu Agricultural Senior High School during a visit to Parliament House said with determination, success would be theirs.
The former Energy Minister also educated the students on the workings of Parliament. The students expressed delight at the visit to the legislature and thanked their MP for his words of encouragement.
