The Member of Parliament for Dome Kwabenya constituency, Sarah Adwoa Safo has admonished supporters of the New Patriotic Party(NPP) to be vigilant in the December 7 polls and make sure that they stay around after voting to monitor counting of ballots.

She said the party is not ready to spend resources to challenge a rigged elections anymore, hence all supporters must ensure they’ll sacrifice to deliver a one touch victory for the Presidential candidate, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

“If you finish voting don’t go and stay home. We should all help to protect the NPP’s victory this time. Go home and bring your Father, mother, auntie, your boyfriend and girl friend and ensure we keep a close eye to the counting process.” She told thousands of supporters at the last rally of the NPP on Sunday, 4 December.

A last rally to wind up the largest opposition NPP’s campaign is underway at the forecourt of the Ghana International Trade Fair Center in Accra.

The big event themed ‘The Battle is the Lord’s’ has seen thousands of NPP supporters across the country.

The party bigwigs including former ministers of state like the Former Water Works Minister, Hackman Owusu Agyemang, former Interior Minister, Kwamena Bartels, and former Defence Minister Addo Kufuor are on the grounds for the mammoth rally.

The others include former Trade Minister, Kofi Konadu Apraku, former Greater Accra Regional Minister, Sheikh I. C. Quaye, all the 275 NPP parliamentary candidates across the country and scores of others have attended the rally.

Former President John Agyekum Kufuor, NPP Presidential Candidate, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and his running mate, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia are also present to grace the last rally.
