The Minority in Parliament has expressed its shock over the devastating event that has crowded the nation after 8 Ghanaians lost their lives after a military chopper crushed.
Deput Minority Leader, Patricia Apiagyei in an interview noted that the Minority is in shock to the marrow as to why the Parliament of Ghana would experience such a pain in just few weeks.
The Minority is already mourning the death of the Akwatia Member of Parliament, Ernest Kumi and now most painful of crush that led to 8 people including an MP and a Minister.
The Deputy Leader finds Dr Omane Boamah’s situation as most wrenching and unfortunate as he leaves behind mother, wife and children.
Meanwhile Deputy Majority Leder, George Rickette Hagan, who represented the Majority Leader, and the Caucus said it was difficult news to bear and that the family should be strengthened.
