Hon. Nii Armasah Namoale, MP for Dadekotopon Constituency has expressed doubts about the genuineness of T.B Joshua saying that he (Namoale) does not succumb to the spiritual gymnastics of the Prophet.
Prophet T.B Joshua, General Overseer of The Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCON) has won the hearts of many Ghanaians and until July last year, he was the spiritual father of the Late President J.E.A Mills before his demise.
Last Sunday, four persons were reported dead and 13 others injured during a stampede at the Spintex Road branch of the Church when thousands of people thronged the church to receive free distribution of holy water acclaimed to be the panacea to many spiritual afflictions.
Hon. Nii Armasah Namoale who was contributing to discussions on the Mpensempensemu segment on Adom TV’s Badwem programme accused the police and city authorities for negligence leading to the death of the victims.
“The police should in the future be able to regulate crowd at social and public gatherings to avert such preventable incidents,” he advised.
MP for Fanteakwa also contributing to the programme traced the cause of the stampede to laziness on the part of Ghanaians claiming they don’t study the Bible and pray, instead they chase after signs and wonders.
“The word is the only solace that gives knowledge and comfort in life,” he added.
