The Minister of Information, and Member of Parliament for Talensi, Hon. Akologu John Tia has commended all the Chiefs Executives in the Upper West Region for their invaluable contribution to the Better Ghana Agenda by helping improve the standard of living and the level of infrastructure in their respective areas.

According to him, this gives a reflection of how committed the government is in developing the country to an appreciable level as captured in the Better Ghana Agenda.

He made the commendation at a meet-the-press organized in Upper West Region of the country.

The programme was to serve as a platform for media personnel to ask the Chief Executives pertinent questions about the level of development in their areas since they took over the administration of the districts in 2009.

There was a photo exhibition after the programme to showcase all the developmental projects being undertaken in the various districts including nurses’ quarters, CHPS compounds, teachers’ quarters, borehole projects, among others.
