Member of Parliament for Adansi Asokwa, K.T Hammond has retained his seat.
He beat his only contender Pollster, Ben Ephson has predicted a defeat for incumbent Member of Parliament for the Adansi Asokwa constituency in the upcoming 2016 elections.
He beat his closest contender, Evans Amankwa by garnering 16,468 as against 12,389.
The former Deputy Minister of Energy’s seat is one of the seats that the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) had targeted to wrestle from the opposition New Patriotic Party in the Ashanti Region.
