The Member of Parliament for Kade Asamoah Ofosu has assisted authorities towards the reconstruction of the Kade market.

The MP made donation of a number of packets of roofing sheets to aid early reconstruction of portions of the market that was recently razed down by fire.

This is in response to appeal by the traders for assistance to provide that conducive environment for them to get back to business which is their source of livelihood.

The onset of the rainy season is major concern of the traders whose sheds were affected by the fire as the absence of conducive space will expose them to the rain and even make-shift sheds may not be able to support them enough.

The Kade Market also suffered its share of fire outbreaks which have become a common spectacle in major market centres across the country destroying properties worth thousands of Ghana cedis.
