Embattled Member of Parliament Kennedy Agyapong says he has no hatred for any ethnic group in Ghana and that he stands for truth, justice and equality for all Ghanaians.
He said it will be fool hardy on his part to preach hatred for Ewes as four of his children are from Adidome in the Volta Region.
The firebrand MP was addressing hundreds of party supporters who besieged the New Patriotic Party Head quarters, Thursday, to welcome him, after he was granted bail by an Accra Human Rights Court.
Hon. Kennedy Agyepong has been charged with attempted genocide and treason felony for his comments on his own radio station Oman FM last week to the effect that Ashantes should attack Ewes and Gas in reaction to attacks on NPP supporters especially in Odododiodioo and other parts of the country and declaring war in the process.
He was arrested and detained on Monday when he was invited by the police to be questioned; he was charged with treason on Tuesday and taken to court on Wednesday.
The acerbic tongue MP spent three days in the grips of the law enforcement agencies after his lawyers failed to secure bail for him on Tuesday and finally granted bail on Thursday afternoon to a rousing welcome by party supporters.
