Ill health has always been a nightmare to every human being; but it even gets worse when there is little hope of where to turn to for solution.

This is why many communities keep knocking at the doorsteps of authorities to provide health facilities in their localities.

But for some fortunate selected communities in the Keta Municipality, their hope of easily accessing basic health delivery will soon become reality following interventions from the Member of Parliament for Keta, Mr. Richard Quashigah.

The completed health centre @ Sasieme

Through the hard work of the MP, three deprived communities in the municipality including Tsiame, Lawoshieme, and Sasieme are being built a clinic.

The projects that are in various stages of completion are aimed at ensuring that residents in beneficiary communities can at least receive basic health delivery especially during emergencies

According to Mr. Quashigah, providing these communities with health facilities is a perfect way of positively touching the lives of the people adding that reducing poverty also means ensuring the people are in good health.

Lawoshieme health centre nears completion

He said the difficulty associated with transporting sick people to bigger health facilities in the municipality is a cause of worry and that informed the decision to build the health facilities close to the people as alternatives to always travelling to the municipal hospital.

He also indicated that these were requests made by the people among other needs and was confident they will derive the necessary benefit from the projects.
