The Member of Parliament for Kwabre West Emmanuel Owusu Ansah is dead.
The MP died on Friday dawn at the Korle- Bu teaching hospital where was receiving medical treatment. He was to have been rushed to the Achimota hospital on Thursday after he collapsed at home.
Hon. Emmanuel Owusu Ansah had to be transferred to the Korle- Bu for further treatment but the Achimota hospital ambulance which was to ferry him to Korle- Bu was reported to be out of order prompting an ambulance from parliament to be dispatched to take him to Korle Bu.
At Korle Bu he was suppose to run an MRI test but the scan machine was said to have been at fault, whiles authorities and family members prepared to take him to Adabraka poly clinic, he gave up a ghost at Friday dawn.
Hon. Ansah a lawyer by profession, once served as the Ashanti regional minister under the Kuffour administration from 2005-2008.
He was also once a Deputy attorney general, Hon. Owusu is the sitting MP to die in less than a month after the MP for walensi Alhaji Saani, Iddi died barely 3 weeks ago.
