Hon Kwasi Ameyaw-Cheremeh is currently the first Rapporteur of the Industry and Private sector Committee of the 6th ECOWAS Legislature.
He is one of eight-member delegation representing Ghana at the community parliament in the 6th legislature.
Hon Kwasi Ameyaw-Cheremeh is not new to the community parliament having represented the country since the 4th parliament and even served as the leader of the Ghanaian delegation in the 4th Parliament at the time he was the Majority Chief whip in the 7th Parliament of Ghana.
In the immediate past 5th ECOWAS Parliament, he was the chairman on the Trade, Customs and Free Movement Committee.
His experience in the Community Parliament and vast knowledge on various issues affecting the bloc would come handy as the new leadership seeks to work to address many of the challenges confronting the sub-region.
