Majority Leader Mahama Ayariga is thrilled by their side’s two-third Majority following the swearing in of the Ablekuma North Member of Parliament Ewurabena Aubynn on Tuesday.
According to him for a very long time they now have a very good number to do many good things for Ghanaians and carry out significant constitutional reforms to make the House and Ghanaians better.
“Today we have the numbers to re-set Ghana and I want to assure Ghanaians that what President Mahama said during his swearing in still stands that we would not abuse the majority given to us by Ghanaians”.
And further added that it has been a long battle but the people of Ablekuma North have decided and have an MP.
“We are grateful to God for this to happen and the people of Ablekuma North for their resilience”. They put up a fight on the December 7, 2024 general elections when the results were being put together, and today July 22, 2025 their aspiration and the young lady representing Ablekuma North, with our two/third majority we would use it wisely” he stated.
“I know she has a lot of energy and would learn very fast to catch up; she would make us proud and even overtake some of us”, Mr. Ayariga said as he concluded the swearing in of the new MP.
