Some fifteen girls in the Manhyia North Constituency in the Ashanti Region have benefited from the benevolence of the Member of Parliament for the area, Collins Owusu-Amankwa.
The girls were presented with sawing machines and are now learning vocational skills in dressmaking.
The gesture according to the Member of Parliament is geared towards ensuring that the beneficiaries who willingly sort such assistance learn skills that will enable them to be self sufficient for themselves and their families.
He commended the young girls for the bold initiative they have taken and urged them to put in their best to achieve their goal.
