The MP for Obuasi East and Deputy Ranking member of Parliamentary Select Committee on Government Assurance, Edward Enin, has announced that, Sector Ministers who would make promises of embarking on projects from the Eurobond facility would be made accountable and responsible for that.
This he said would make ministers stick to their words and render good services to Ghanaians.
Speaking to Shaft Fm news, Hon. Enin stated that Eurobond facility is meant for government specific projects and it is paramount to monitor how and what exactly ministers of state would invest the money in to ensure value for the money, since the president himself would not spearhead any project.
He urged journalists to volunteer to give any information to the Assurance Committee regarding promises ministers would make on projects that should be funded from Eurobond to help us question them when they fail to deliver as mandated by the laws of the land.
