The Public Accounts Committee is holding public hearing to examine the report of the Auditor General on Ministries, Departments Agencies and Public Boards for the year ended December 31, 2024.
This morning the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources would appear before the Committee, same with the Office of the Administrator for Stool Lands and Forestry Commission, Lands Commission and Minerals Commission.
In addition Ministry of Food and Agriculture, Ghana Cocoa Board, Grains and Legumes Development Board and the Ghana Irrigation Development Authority will also have their time with the Committee.
Under the Ministry of Finance;Minerals Investment Fund, NDPC and National Insurance Commission, National lottery Authority;
The Ministry of Roads and Highways, and the Ministry of Transport will have the following – Ghana shippers Authority, Ghana Airport, Ghana Maritime Authority, Ghana Civil Aviation Authority, Airport Clinic Ghana, Ghana ports Authority and the PSC Tema Ship yard, Volta Lake Transport and Ghana Railway Authority.
Under the Ministry of Defence is Kofi Annan Peace Training.
