Minister for Health, Kwaku Agyeman Manu had said on the floor of Parliament that a team from his Ministry would have assessment done at Nabdam Health Centre and if the need be they would benefit from a District Hospital.
According to the Minister for Health, his Ministry is aware of the population growth of Nabdam constituency and after the assessment if the need be, the facility would be upgraded to a District Hospital to attract the needed facility and staff.
He added that already there has been a consideration in a four year capital investment plan and the Ministry has started negotiations for concessionary funding towards its implementation.
This came to light on the floor of Parliament when Mark Kurt Nawaane MP for Nabdam wanted to know when a district hospital services would be provided in the district.
