Member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram, Samuel George Nartey has said the conduct of election in November 2018 to get National Executive Officers for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), would climax its come back in 2020.

According to the Ningo-Prampram legislator NDC is a party on the rise, because when you take a trip down memory lane NDC in 2001 after we lost power in 2000 people were afraid to wear NDC shirt.

Again people were afraid to be associated with the NDC, even with us in 2004 when we nearly worn that election, this time around “you see the believe in the NDC around the country”, he said in an interview.

He made this remark after the just ended regional elections to get new regional executives of the party which saw a rejuvenated base across the country with some incumbent maintaining their positions whiles others lost.

“This Akufo-Addo administration is a mistake of a government and we should correct the mistake we made in 2016, we would correct this mistake”, he lamented.

Mr. Samuel George Nartey recounted that after the defeat of the NDC in the Presidential and Parliamentary elections in 2016, he noted that they were in a state of despair because of he lies that had been told and pedaled by many in the media.

Post election when calm had returned, members of the NDC realize that a lot of things had been said about John Mahama and his government that were lies, it started with the unity walks to bring back unity within the party, he said.

Again we have the Professor Kwasi Botwe committee that went round to listen to the grievances of the people, there had been a strategic plan to bring back the enthusiasms   within the NDC, it started with our branch elections we had a massive turn out.

“For the constituency elections, it was something else, now looking at what is happening in the various regions”, he said emphatically.
