New Edubiase township, which is the District Capital of Adansi South, is to witness an improved road network soonest as the contactor has moved to site to begin work.

The town is dotted with unmotorable roads making transportation very uncomfortable for motorists who ply the roads. Drivers bear the brunt of the poor nature of the roads as their car parts get damaged regularly and as a result having a toll on their finances.

The Member of Parliament for New Edubiase, Hon. Ernest Yakah, who feels strongly about the potholes ridden roads, said that does not reflect the town being a district capital and so got the District Chief Executive and the Constituency party chairman to partner him lobby officials in Accra after which the road was awarded on contract.

The elated MP, in an interview with Ghanamps.gov,gh disclosed that the town will eventually have a total length of about five (5)km of tarred roads which will boost economic activities in the area.

Hon. Yakah sounding very confident that the contractor will begin work soon, urged the residents to be patient as the government has a good package for them and will surely fulfill that pledge.
