The Member of Parliament for Sissala East Amidu Chinnia Issahaku has filled his nomination as the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate seeking to be re-elected in the December 7, 2024, Parliamentary and Presidential elections.|
“I believe in the judgment of the people of Sissala East and I know they will assess my performance and come to conclusion to re-elect me for a second term”, he shared on his Facebook page.
In the afternoon of Monday, September 9, 2024, he was a accompanied by regional secretary, the regional organizer, the constituency chairman and his executives, the Hon MCE, former DCEs, Bakor and Salifu Waah, elders of the party, electoral area coordinators, polling station executives and many others.
“I presented my nomination forms to the electoral commission as the NPP parliamentary candidate for the 2024 general elections in the Sissala East. This is a step towards retaining the seat based on my performance this far and the new plans I have in my next term. By the grace of God Almighty victory will be ours come 7th December 2024.”
