Member of Parliament for Dome/Kwabenya constituency, Sarah Adwoa Safo has urged her constituents to remain calm with a full conviction that, something positive will come out of the NPP’s petition at the Supreme Court.

The NPP is challenging the outcome of the 2012 elections.

According to Ms. Safo, the investiture of John Dramani Mahama as the President of the Ghana, will come to nothing, after the final determination of the Supreme Court.

Adwoa Safo, who is on a thank you tour of her area for the support they gave her by voting massively for her and the NPP in the December 7 and 8 elections, assured supporters of the party that, the Court will rule in their favour and Nana Akufo-Addo will be sworn-in as President.

The MP maintained that the NPP’s legal team has assembled massive evidence, that will change the outcome of the results in favour of Nana Addo.

She stated: “It’s not about the referees, who supervised the elections, nor the people who count it that matter most; but more importantly it’s about the person who cast the vote and for that matter the EC should allow our votes to be counted”.

Adwoa Safo assured the people of her resolve to work hard as a Member of Parliament for the area to ensure that they benefited from policies that will impact their lives.
