In his bid to reduce problems caused by flooding in his constituency, Hon. Patrick Yaw-Boamah is constructing more drains in the Woyeme Electoral Area.
Most of the drains linking the N1 highway pass through the area; a situation that causes flooding especially during the rainy season because of poor drainage network in the area.
It is in line with this that the Legislator decided to take up the initiative to construct and expand the drainage system in the area.
Mr. Francis Bebobru, Chairman of the project planning committee in the Constituency, who made the information known, said the residents contributed 20 per cent of funds towards the project and human resource whiles the MP contributed 80 per cent.
The Project is however steadily progressing and it’s expected to be completed soon.
