Chairman of the Health Committee Dr. Kurt Mark Nawaane said their four hours of negotiations with the leadership of the striking nurses have fruitful and they would have to get back to their council and return to the Committee.
According to him the negotiation was very fruitful and they have tried as much as possible to synchronise their discussions.
Addressing the media, he noted that leadership of the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives council, Finance Ministry, Fair wages, Health Committee and Health Ministry were at the meeting and thanked them for showing up on Thursday, 12 June, 2025.
He added that it is fair to allow the leadership of the nurses to get back to their council and give them information.
