The Member of Parliament for Amenfi West Dr. Eric Afful has noted that the priority of his constituents in a cocoa producing area is addressing the road infrastructure.
This, he said his constituents are right about having high expectations with the return of President John Dramani Mahama back to power.
According to him, the last eight years of the previous New Patriotic Party (NPP), the Amenfi West and East never saw any development in the constituency and municipalities.
And now the expectation of the people is that now the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is in power, they should come and develop the area, he said in an interview.
He said the last NDC government started a lot of developmental project in the area of roads, school projects, electrification in the area and that gives the people the hope that the government can come through for them.
He said efforts are in place to continue a number of the projects including the Bawdie-Asankragwa, completion of Amoaku Community Day school, electrification projects among others.
