Parliament on Wednesday adjourned sitting to Friday 17th February 2012, after barely 30 minutes of business in the house.
Parliamentary proceeding which started at 11:30am had to be adjourned at 12pm to enable the protocol department of parliament to decorate and prepare the house ahead of the State of the Nations Address which will be presented tomorrow.
The President J.E.A Mills who will present this year’s State of the Nations Address tomorrow, Thursday 16, 2012 is expected to speak on the progress made by his government in various sectors including agric, health, education and economy and how his administration intends to further improve the current state of affairs.
The Majority Leader Cletus Avorka who moved the motion to adjourn session said the Master Facility Agreement between Ghana government and the China Development Bank (CDB) on the 3 Billion US dollars loan facility to finance infrastructure development projects under the Ghana Shared Growth Development Agenda will be laid on Friday.
